This summer, I went to Machu Picchu in Peru, one of the seven wonders in the humans. oer 2000 people visit Machu Picchu daily (Miranda et al., 2011). One of the famous tourer tours was to trek for four days on the Inca Trail to look to the beauty of nature. My experience with the Inca Trail was not very penetrative because I was annoyed by lots of garbage on the ground and marks that tourist made on rocks and trees (For principle I saw many Susan 2011 or Mike 2008). My Peruvian tour guide told me that the inseparable milieu of Machu Picchu was destroyed by the high level of tourist activities. However, touristry is the main root of income for 90 percent of population near the area. With the high dependence on touristry, choosing between maintaining the surround and making profits is a dilemma for the local residents. Peru is just one example of a country facing purlieual issues because of high level of tourism. In the past decades, tourism has become one of the lar gest industries in the conception (Neto, 2002). Although high level of tourist activities creates the fast frugal growth, the environment is at risk at the same time. The environmental threats from tourism including: losing internal resources, imbalance of local ecosystem, and pollution and waste production.

We moldiness pay attention to these issues because the damage is often non-recoverable. Supporting sustainable tourism development is a key to protecting our environment without losing the benefits from the tourism business because of its emphasis on the management of natural resources, the maintenance of ec osystems, and the elimination of pollution a! nd waste production.
